Lesson 1
In Lesson 1, we enhance our learning towards triangles. We learn about interior angles and the triangle sum theorem. We learn about Exterior angles and its theorem. And we learn the specialties if the versatile isosceles triangle. This lesson introduces classifying triangles by their angles and sides.
Lesson 2
In lesson 2, we build on our knowledge of isosceles and equilateral triangles and their relationships. We start to use and apply the properties of these triangles and theorems related to these triangles in proofs. We also barely breeze over some properties that would help in finding triangles congruent.
Lesson 3
In lesson 3, we leaned a lot of ways to prove triangles congruent. As also in unit 2, we learned about the SSS, SAS, AAS, ASA, and HL postulates. We are also learning to create congruence statement after of before proving two triangles congruent. Lastly, we are learning how to apply these triangle congruence statements form using proofs and prove triangles congruent from a picture.
Lesson 4
In lesson 4, we learning about using theorems to find sides or angles to use a triangle congruency statements to prove triangles congruent by using proofs. We also prove ,from looking at a picture, that two triangles are congruent.
Lesson 5
In Lesson 5, we learned about CPCTC. After proving a triangle congruent, we can prove other parts, angles, and segments equal to each other. we used this to either end or go further on in a proof. Now we were applying all properties and theorems to prove triangles congruent.
Lesson 6
This lesson, me learned about mid-segments of a triangle. We learned about relationships between the mid-segment and other sides and we applied these relationships to solve problems.
Lesson 7
In lesson 7, we learned about medians, altitudes, perpendicular bisectors, and angle bisectors in triangles. WE leaned that the intersection of those for thing create triangle centers and the different triangle centers have different and similar properties. We use and apply these to solve coordinate and picture problems.
